Why I created Full-Time Chime

I created Full-Time Chime after realizing I was curious about other people and their career. Did they face similar or different struggles? Are they passionate about what they do? Is their position what they expected?

You spend 40-60 hours per week working, it’s not just a job. Those weeks, months and years working become a part of you. We owe it to ourselves to find passion in what we do and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

What I am up to
By day I am marketing professional for a tech company in the state of New Jersey.  Most nights I can be found editing in Adobe Creative Suite or laughing with friends over a glass of red wine. I hope to use Full-Time Chime to share my experiences as I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle around my full-time position.

3 Types of Health

If a job is going to take a negative toll on a person’s health, for an extended period of time, we need to make a change or seek help. I want employees and employers to take health seriously which is why each blog post is centered around the idea that there are three types of health we need to consider.

  1. Physical health
  2. Mental health
  3. Financial Health

Physical health

Physical health might be the first thing that comes to mind when you even hear the word health. But around a full-time job and other obligations it can be difficult to maintain a physically healthy lifestyle. But there are little cheat-cheats that we can do to take care of the physical health aspect of our life. Which will be shared here at Full-Time Chime.

Mental Health

At the end of the day, we are human with hiccups outside of our control. We can do our very best to make sure we stay on track with our career and personal goals, but most of us will experience stress at some point. Maneuvering through stressful events will help us maintain our mental health.

Financial Health

To maintain any ideal lifestyle, our bank account must be financially healthy. It’s time to start budgeting for the expected and unexpected.
